I have never seen any of the top 15 disaster movie except Godzilla and titanic.

1. Are the main characters in disaster movies normally male or female?

Mainly Male 

2. Which of your chosen films involve a storyline in which the main character has to get a member of their family to safety?

In Sand Andreas, the main character has to safe his daughter from drowning.

3.The 'disaster' in Disaster movies usually falls into the following categories: natural (earthquakes/volcanoes/climate change) alien attack or an epidemic. Which categories do each of your films fall into?

San Andreas is an earthquake, Titanic is a boat crash and Godzilla is a massive dinosaur lizard thing attacking Tokyo

In San Andreas the daughter and the dad survive.

Titanic they're on the boat
