Definitions: -Headline: A heading at the top of an article or page in a newspaper or magazine. - layout/image: The way images are laid out on the page. -Display type: Large or eye-catching type used for headings or advertisement. -Kicker: An unexpected and often unpleasant turn of events. -Intro: What keeps you interested if you end up reading. -Byline: Name of an article/writer. -Body copy: The mean piece of writing. -Lead: A particular place or direction. -Nut Graf: Tells you what the writer is up to. -Baseline: A minimum or starting point used for comparisons. -Subhead: A heading given to a subsection of a piece of writing. -Pull quote: A brief, attention-catching quotation, typically in a distinctive typeface, taken from the main text from an article and used as a subheading or graphic feature. -Header/footer: A line or block of text appearing at the foot of each page of a book or
